Born and raised in a small Texas town, Chef Daniel is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu. He has worked at many reputable restaurants, including Joël Robuchon Restaurant, Bouchon Bistro, Nobhill Tavern, and Scotch 80 Prime, and with globally-renowned chefs like Joël Robuchon, Thomas Keller, Michael Mina, David Myers, and Kerry Simon.
As a corporate executive chef at Carversteak, Chef Daniel’s duties include developing new ideas and menus, and helping younger chefs grow their careers. His work has improved the dining experience and teamwork at Carversteak. This has been recognized by customers and the industry as a whole. Notably, Chef Daniel was also named the Best Local Chef in Las Vegas Weekly’s 2025 Best of Vegas awards, and Carversteak was the best steakhouse in Las Vegas in the same awards in June 2025.
In 2021, Chef Daniel was announced as the executive chef for Carver Road Hospitality, the hospitality company that owns and operates Carversteak and other venues. This means he oversees the culinary operations of all venues under the hospital brand across the United States.
